I believe a room should look as though it was collected over a lifetime, not decorated in a season. Furniture with a history. Fabric with depth. A house that feels unmistakably yours, not mine.

For over a decade, I've built that philosophy into homes across Wisconsin, spending those years building relationships with the antique dealers, makers, and workrooms who bring a vision to life with real craftsmanship, and learning, project after project, what actually makes a space feel lived-in rather than staged.

When my husband's career brought us to Dallas, it also meant the chance to be closer to his family. I'll be honest: leaving friends, family, clients, and the business relationships I'd spent over a decade building was not a small thing. But starting over has a way of clarifying what actually matters in your work, and what's simply habit.

We bought a house here that was every bit its 1980s self, original finishes, a dated layout, the kind of house only a designer could see past to find the opportunity in. We took it down to the studs in places, moved walls, reimagined the floor plan, and rebuilt nearly every surface and system from there. Seven months later, we moved in. If you've ever lived through a major renovation, you know that timeline is fast by any measure. I was, for those seven months, my own most demanding client: second-guessing finishes, waiting on deliveries, trying to trust a process I usually guide other people through. But the first week we lived in it, a neighbor stopped by, stood in the doorway, and said, "This home just feels like it gives you a hug." That's the whole job, really. It was, without question, the best thing that could have happened to my practice. I now sit across from my clients with a fuller understanding of what I'm asking of them, because I've asked it of myself.

These days, you'll find me walking Huck along the Katy Trail, getting my morning Pilates fix, or out with my husband catching live music somewhere in the city. And at home, you'll likely find our cat, CiCi, holding court in whatever patch of sunlight she's claimed as her own.

My approach hasn't changed with the zip code: unfitted, collected, and layered. Rooms built to be lived in, not just photographed.

My work spans high-end residential projects across Dallas and the nation, from intimate family homes to landmark club spaces. I'm also recognized as an editorial stylist for national shelter publications, with features in Traditional Home Magazine, Luxe Magazine, and other Meredith Publications. Disciplined, image-forward, and deeply attentive to the story a room tells, it's a sensibility that informs every space I design.
